Bristol Rovers v Bolton Wanderers

Back on the road and a midweek long haul trip to Bristol. Rovers are 7th and pushing for a play off place so another tough fixture. Bolton still bottom with the gap to safety growing game by game like the injury list. After the defeat by Rochdale bolton are now 21 points plus gd from safety. That first win will it be tonight? Well they won the last fixture here 2-1 with goals from spearing and Vela. Unfortunately we don't have as good a team as that one.Team news. Gary flitcroft mentioned a headcount . I get 11 injured, a full team bridcutt, Buckley, bunney, Edwards, brockbank, alnwick, darcy, Wright, hobbs, graham, Verlinden.

Well this is a refreshing feeling!
First win of the season, that's a monkey off the player's backs and should be a nice confidence boost after some positive performances that didn't get their rewards. Just got to make sure we take points from the games in hand we have on those above us now.

Well done Wanderers. Really glad Murphy has got off the mark for the Trotters. Hopefully he can be the man to help you haul in Milton Franchise.

Who is going to ask SWIE to stay away for the Lincoln game ?

Nobody. I was otherwise engaged yesterday evening but I was so pleased that we finally achieved our first win of the season.

We now have the job of keeping the ball rolling into the back of the opposition's net. Hopefully, we will get a boost with some of the players escaping the confines of their sickbeds.

I nearly wrote someone's happy but that applies to us all.

I keep reading Hill is not feeling any pressure. Just think what might happen if he was feeling a little bit of pressure.

Can we please have some of these fitted on the Unibol pitch to stop the opposition strikers from getting near our goal? We would also need a few safety nets above and behind the goalposts to catch the offending strikers.
