Utds players have said their disappointed so that's kind of all that matters to an extent.

Liverpool have won 25 of their last 30 matches. Personally I dont expect to win them all, but were I a Utd fan I expect my team to win more than five.

100% agree Robbing. Of course the players are disappointed conceding a late goal in what would have been a famous victory.

Every United fans accept that that we are poor, opinions differ if we are on the right road or not. Liverpool are a top team, I predicted we would lose, probably heavily, most pundits had us down for a loss.
So I was pleased to come away with a draw and a decent performance.

Im happy with it too, and yet agree with nearly all of what you wrote. Morons trying to tell each other how they feel, like Roy above there, is pretty odious but there we go.

Ive been reading a lot about reality being your own perception at the moment. Seems apt.

We don't accept it, because it is not true.
In our pomp we expected to win every game, we didn't, but we thought we would before hand.
You are currently the best team in Europe, and England by a distance.
Most of your fans, including many on here, expected a win.
You didn't get it, but you got an honourable draw, so there is no need to be crying about it three days later.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your fixation with pre match expectations is the sand you bury your head in. Pre match expectations don't determine the weight of the result. What kind of logic is that?

So United will miss out on European football and could be in a relegation scrap but you think what determines the weight of the result is the bookies.

You can't be that thick judging from what I've seen previously so its obviously denial.

No, I think the bookies odds predict the likely outcome.
As does recent form.

Still if you thought a draw would be a good result for you, fair enough.

No, a draw was not a good result for us but it was not a bad result either. In any case, the question was who had the better result, which is different from whether I think we had a good result.

Nothing the bookies do impacts the weight of a result. It means nothing. The weight of a result is in the points gained and what the team can achieve but I think you know that.
