Fantastic result and performance. Didn’t expect that performance. To a men we were good, few outstanding ones too. Barasic, Helander or Davis fot MOTM for me.

Shame we’re bottom seeds and stuck with a tough group, but jealous as fck of those over in Portugal tonight

morelos is too important to us, i really hope we can keep him till summer

It is going to have to be silly money for us to sell Morelos in January. Anything around £15m would cause a bit of a headache but if you went nearer £20m or above with add-ons then it might happen.

Unfortunately the way he is playing it gets more likely with every passing game - particularly in Europe. His away performances against Midtjylland, Young Boys and Porto have really shown what a top class asset he is.

I would expect us to bring in two strikers in January if Morelos goes. And I wouldn't be surprised if one of them was Cosgrove.

Ten goals in Europe so far is an outstanding stat. I'm sure there will be many clubs sniffing about now.

Would be gutted to lose Morelos in Jan, but if a big offer comes then fact we can call back on Defoe may make it likely he goes. Hope we can keep till next summer

Morelos, Barisic and Davis were excellent again. The improvement in ability, heart and commitment from Barisic is as big an improvement as i can rememeber in a blue shirt. He never misplaced a single pass last night, had to deal with two very tricky talented and attack minded players down his side and still managed to be a huge threat in an attacking sense. His assist was top drawer and he really deserves all the backing the fans are giving him at the moment.

The cross Barisic put in for the Morelos header that the keeper did well to save was outrageous. It was absolutely perfect - and from quite a distance.

He has always has the basic physique and attributes to be a top player. We are seeing just what a weapon he can be now - he just needs to keep it going.

Unfortunately though Barisics improvement seems to have been balanced out by Taveniers regression - which has been just as spectacular over the past month
