The Europa is a nasty little comp with third rate sides in it...only been made worthwhile since it attracted a CL place for the winner...

You have to do what we did & win it again to make the CL...your league form & inexperienced manager suggests you won't make top 4

I think you’ve just been unlucky. I was reading an article by Hafi which suggested you had the highest expected goals per game and if things fell the right way you’d be above Liverpool right now.

We didn't bring in enough players in the summer. We all knew we needed to bring in at least 5 players, with two of those being midfielders. That's the issue right there really. We didn't get all the players needed. Then there is the injury issue. The only time we didn't have it we finished second.

De Gea was also godly that season. We’d have finished 3rd last season had he been even half as good.

You probably shouldn't have taken any notice of him. Most people don't.

Cheer up boys, if you win this weekend and Sheffield United don’t, you’ll go above them, just keep trying for those penno’s, seems to be an area of moderate success for you so far 🙂
