The start of this season has got the 13/14 feel about it so far.

Looked patchy in the opening 4-5 games but it's started coming together with a team and fanbase united behind the vision. And like that season there's a sense of very little pressure on the team, everyone's just enjoying what's happening and looking to the future. It's great.

Football is a weird game, I actually thought the first half hour at utd was some of the best we've played all year. Against Burnley, we were not great yet managed to score 4 goals...Overall our performances though, have been fairly consistent. I thought we should have won the super cup and got a draw at the bridge against pool too.

Either way Frank has us playing a certain way and its starting to bear fruit. Throroughly enjoying it so far.
All while we are missing half our starting 11.

The most impressive aspect is how swift & proactive Frank is in taking actions.

Pulisic for example...was struggling to adapt & be on the same wavelength as others at first when he got the run of matches at the beginning.

Frank rightly took him out of the starting lineup and fairly told him to work his way back up to starting, Pulisic took that message on board...made contributions off the bench and now scored his first career hat-trick against Burnley away of all places (on paper shouldn't be a team that one would expect Pulisic to bag a hat-trick against).

Kudos to Frank for taking the appropriate (& correct) measures to better Pulisic as a player, amidst the inane uninformed outrage from certain sections of the fanbase.

This example of brilliant management will resonate through the squad.

Even finding and applying a solution to our set pieces issues with the half zonal, half man-marking mix is a mark of a man that is clued-up.

Frank showing all the makings and hallmarks of a top coach/manager, still in the infancy of his managerial career.
