Last couple of games, we have dominated the first half, Eddie comes on in the second half and, granted he scored in one, without a doubt, we have been clinging on.
Today, no Eddie in the squad, we dominate for most of the game with QPR not even looking like they would score, a comfortable home win.
No doubt Eddie is a talisman, but we look a better side without him.

Think the different formation today would have suited Eddie more today. Bamford was excellent thougb

Fed up of hearing this rubbish.
How is having a striker in the side who can’t run and is missing 3/5 chances a games a good thing

Isn't Eddie injured? To suggest we played better because wasn't there is fooking insane.

What a ridiculous article. Makes zero sense. Eddie has made a great impact as sub for the majority of games he’s played in. You can like bamford more without making shyteeeeeful comments like above

Eddy would most probably have scored from one of those chances Bamford had. We dominate some games we lose with Bamford in, so picking out this game to use as a defense for Bamford being better is a nonsense, but he does get through some work. It's about horses for courses. Not all teams play like QPR. We won 2 . 0 and Bamford still didn't score. If the other two players hadn't scored and the game had a different outcome, there would have been a lot of scrutinising Bamfords missed opportunities that a decent striker should have taken. It keeps being said, that a striker is rated by the goals scored and if we were to go for one, I bet the first question would be "what's his goal tally ?".

I get what the op is saying. Eddie is a great impact sub but until bielsa thinks he can get both bamford and Eddie in the team I'd rather have bamford.
We have to get more goals from the midfield and have more comfortable games like yesterday.
The team is playing good football and will start to get the goals we're missing from our chances.

No Mont, I am not saying that, listen to what Bielsa said yesterday, the high press starts from the guy up top, "the forward is the player that leads the press, if he doesn't do well the pressure it's difficult we do not press well". That's why we do poorly when Eddie has been on the pitch and why the high press has stopped working and we have struggled in the second half of recent games.
Alfridi, Batty and The Hayemaker clearly show they have no grasp of this.
We need a player who can orchestrate that high press up top and that's not Eddie. Yesterday just proved that.
Better team with better shape without him.
