Should the appeals review be updated?

I'm fed up with VAR. I agree that CHO wasn't a penalty but I did not agree with the yellow card. The Watford penalty yesterday was an absolute joke as there was even less contact on the forward. A couple of Liverpool's penalties have been debatable to say the least. Not giving Deulofeu a penalty against Spurs was a travesty. Some of the decisions against Arsenal have been horrendous.

Are we really in a better position with VAR than without? It's just really frustrating. I think there are more wrong decisions being made because of VAR than without it.

After last week it was puzzling that Dyce would be advocating fro a Burnley pen today with even less contact on his forward then the push in CHO's back. Wish he would stop this malarky that he is a champion of fair play and anti diving. Guys a fraud.

I lost all respect for him after his post match comments a few seasons ago when he couldn't see anything wrong with Ashley Barnes 'challenge' on Matic that could have snapped his leg in two!

I agree with everything that has been said so far.

But what's really grating for me is Television evidence can be used rightly or wrongly to make match influencing decisions.

Yet it still can't be used to overturn a yellow card that may have been incorrectly given.

Agree with you Flash - it is frustrating that the rules are so inflexible when it comes to yellow cards. I can only imagine though that it would clog the system with constant appeals, as there are so many yellow cards - and so many INCORRECT yellow cards too.
Maybe there is a way to allow teams to appeal yellow cards - but if the appeal is turned down they lose their right to appeal for the following month? Perhaps that would cut down on frivolous appeals.
