Its corrupt isnt it? even if its not and the refs really are that facking useless, then in this case isnt it worse how they protect them for doing it, protecting them from having to take any accountability for their incompetence?
VAR has been purposely implented in the prem in such a way it continues to allow referees to decide/influence results and lets be honest theyve gone out of their way to make sure that that is the case, there was absolutely no reasoning for the way they've implemented VAR in the prem unless this was their intention behind it. To start with their live decisions were always correct and technology couldn't prove otherwise as they hid behind the CLEAR AND OBVIOUS error excuse with the bar set unrealistically high.
We now have refs in the VAR room manipulating offsides (the one thing it was actually used for and fairly successfully up until this point) to suit their agenda ffs

how fans can 'think' they know more than a profession, fully qualified referee is beyond me... I do myself to be fair... "that was never a foul".. sat 100 yards away whilst the ref was literally next to it.

If you link me to the ref via Skype or whatever, I would be able to do a better job than the VAR refs while sitting at home and watching on some channel.
I don't understand how its possible for them to fack this up like this. A child could do better.

Its a claim to being more competent than than the current VAR system. There's a difference.

You're a bit confused. Not sure all this is meant for me but the refs knowing about football is neither here nor there. That's a line you introduced to suit your agenda. The ref could know all there is about football but he is still subject to the VAR rules and procedure, which is where the problem lies.
The refs knowledge of the game and the efficiency of VAR are two separate things mate whether you like it or not.

I get you though... United vs Liverpool for example... the goal that Rashford score stood and was right to stand, however if that was right to stand, surely Liverpool's goal should of done too (the handball)
I don't like VAR, would much prefer it to be own to the ref... despite him not knowing as much as a fan

Yeah you're taking me saying I can ref the game from home literally so that you can support a separate point and save your ar5e.
Have a think about that mate. Its a comment that stressed how bad VAR is.
In any case I can justify it if you want to be literal. For the Alli handball I was able to tell it was handball within seconds not viewing a replay whereas VAR took minutes. If I was on Skype to the ref, I would be able to tell him the decision before VAR finished checking.
I would have done a better job than VAR.
Now, does this mean I know more about football than the ref?
