If you have CM's that can run then Ajax are far less dangerous.

Kova and Jorginho never out pace a runner. Make Willy do all the work. No wonder Mount was ineffective.

Kante and RLC would be a better central Mid.

Kova and Jorginho were great tonight. Our issue was our full backs giving away silly fouls and letting in crosses. We scored 6 tonight with 2 disallowed goals. Our issue is still defence. Our cms are fantastic.

Fair enough Nick. I dont like CM's that don't move. We can do so much better.

Why don’t you think they don’t move? If that was the case Jorginho wouldn’t have some of the highest touches and pass totals in the league. I urge you to watch him off the ball, he does not stop moving and giving orders.
Kovacic movement in transition is always fantastic.
Is Jorginho slow? Yes I’ll give you that. But I wouldn’t say he’s static and doesn’t move

This is such an odd stance considering the run were on and how well we’re doing in both competitions. You watch him every game yet don’t see how Jorginho offers so much, constantly moving, getting on the ball and dictating play? ;(

Nicky Boy . We are evolving as a team. I love watching us right now. Hazard woulda killed 9 man Ajax though. When world star Golo comes back I'll have less midfield concerns. Get Soyuncu under JT's coaching. I think we will be very good.

CM's first job is to protect the CB's. Neither of them do it at all so we get over run and concede constantly.
