Champions' League next season

If you are not good enough to beat fodder in the PL, why would you think that winning the EL is doable?

Because we have done it before. We lost to fodder under Jose and went on to win it.

We have already scored 2 goals in the Europa League this season and only one of them was a penalty. We are clearly looking like favourites.

Probably the most likely tbf. Get through the group, maybe add a couple of signings in January and OT will always be a tough place place to go in knockout football.

You were a lot better under Jose in the PL though

Depends on the draw. If we can avoid teams like Dudeland, Carrier Bag, Rangers and Celtic we might go far.

If we win tonight, get a bit of luck in the knock outs with teams that will try to attack us, who knows?

Europa isn't that strong this year. Sevilla, Roma, Porto and Arsenal are probably the most dangerous teams currently in it. Of the teams from the CL, it looks like either Inter/Dortmund will drop into it (and will probably be favourites). Whoever comes in from Chelsea's group will also be a threat.

It will be difficult but we have a better chance of it than finishing top 4, for sure.

Ole might want to take a page out of Mourinho's book and really go hard on winning the Europa League - which we can definitely do.

he also had better players than Ole has to work with.. I would very much doubt, on current inconsistent form, you are good enough to win the Ropey league. very soon the teams that finish 3rd in their CL groups will drop down.. there are some decent sides, and I'd suggest these will become favourites to win the ropey league

You're no way near good enough to win the Europa. Concentrate on the League Cup. You seemed ever so pumped up against Chelsea so maybe you've found your true level of competition. Good luck with the rest of your season though

I worry more about the lesser sides than the better teams that will open up. This has been one of the only consistent themes of Ole’s management.
