Admin - can we have a separate page for VAR

Dont think it was stonewall even without the crazy deflection off BS hand, the fact it hits TAA after crazy ricochet 8 yards out as hes running and tryna stop and change direction his arms are in a pretty natural position for his movement imo slowed down makes it look like theres movement of arm to ball but real time its so much quicker he’d do well to do that with intention.

If youre gna start giving them you might aswell give pens everytime it hits an arm even pep and sterlings claim for the second one from TAA.

VAR isnt the issue the quality of prem officiating and their implementation of it is. All VAR has done as far as im concerned is highlight what we already pretty much knew about our refs.

Selfishly feel some justification here as I’ve said on multiple threads that while TAA handball shouldn’t of been a penalty the PGMOL explanation was wrong

That kinda of incorrect reasoning just further confuses the damn problem with VAR

Absolute stonewall penalty for Man City before Liverpool scored

Don’t get me wrong, Liverpool were brilliant, but that decision was awful and probably changed the entire game

VAR just cannot be trusted if decisions like that are not being pulled up

Get rid of VAR altogether

The problem with VAR is that two people will see the same replay and come up with a different interpretation of the outcome. Mourinho was spot on, the rules need to be consistent.

Can’t stand the thing

Klopp was asked about his unusually quiet celebrations for our goals and he said “ you have to wait now for VAR so when they announce the goal it’s not the same” ....what a shame that we can’t celebrate what we all watch football for GOALS

In the space of 5 days we've had some shockers. Azpilicueta goal dissallowed midweek for exact same thing as TAA at the weekend.
The sheffield utd goal, the salah goal was dubious lines inserted.

Ruining the game.

agree. However the salah line was strange. as was the sheffied utd one where imo he was onside (alderweirelds shoulder).

That’s so true, it will just kill the game over time - it’s taken the fun and debate away which was always part the reason for going to games in the first place

I just think it’ll be more of a hindrance than a positive thing - if they can’t get it working properly and be consistent over the board
