Don't City have any CB's in their youth side that could be used in the cup games so far this season in prep for being back up to Laporte/Stones (and Kompany leaving)?

I agree it was not a game won or lost on marginal refereeing decisions. I don’t agree Guardiola has shown disdain for the CB position and “hasn’t brought anyone in”. It’s not his job to bring anyone in, just saying.

The thing about not replacing Kompany is becoming a boring narrative and is quite stupid.
Even if City wanted a replacement not all defenders can do what Pep wants his CBs to do. You dont just find a Laporte.
I can see Fernandinho playing as first choice CB even when Laporte is back. There is a reason why Pep always has to resort to playing a midfielder in defence.

How much would you say they're both worth ?

Both around 75m+ both around the best for each position in the world.
TAA has greater passing range but is a bit suspect defensively, Robertson better in defence, not quite as good a passing range but is superb down the wing Both are excellent players. Lucky b***tards

It was a lovely goal. TAA and Robertson are what really makes you tick.

Pep want to dominate and have control so he doesn't care about defenders who can defend first. He wants defender who can pass under pressure.
He tried to press us but Trent and Robbo are the best fullbacks in the world with their diagonal balls and switching play.
I thought we didn't play that well and felt we could have scored more if we made the right decisions in the final third.

Whats really ominous is that TTA is improving defensively all the time and Robbo's passing is getting better and better going forward (just needs more goals!)
