I think the fingers should be pointed at ENIC rather than Poch or Levy.

Stadium construction is exempt from FFP and the amount of equity they hold by owning the club compared to the amount of money they have put in is ridiculous. They could easily throw money at the stadium debts leaving next to no constraints on transfer/wage activity but they choose not to.

Sooner or later this lack of ambition is going to actually impact on their investment value and so the most obvious option for all concerned is to look for an appropriate buyer and sell up.

From the outside the situation at Spurs is an interesting one.
Obviously over the last few seasons Poch has quite rightly been praised for ‘over achieving’ maybe with the squad and has been heralded as ‘hot property’ on the managerial merry go round, which was rightly deserved.
But I would be interested to know if all the good times are in danger of being jaded by the slump in form now and the stubbornness of a Poch to change things.
As an outsider it seems that there is only one reasonable outcome to all this, it’s a question of when he goes not if.
Hope to see Spurs towards the top of the table again soon.
Just one request, don’t come sniffing around Brendan. Just remember all the negative comments about him and how his teams can’t defend etc.

Howe has done nothing spectacular with Bournemouth while in the PL. They don't get far in cups and they don't get near Europe. All they seem to do is the minimum required to avoid relegation. I'm not saying he wouldn't do well at Spurs cause he might but he isn't doing enough presently to warrant coming to Spurs.

Southgate?No. Overrated with England.

I don't know about Nagelsmann. May be too young and inexperienced.

I think we'll beat West Ham so hopefully we won't have to think about it.

I guess thats my point.... How was Poch's track record at Saints any better than what Howe has done at Bournemouth that made him any more deserving of the Spurs job..... Fancy foreign name ? Recommended by Ossie & Ricky ?????. Feels like a little anti British snobbery going on where a possible Poch replacement is concerned. BTW he just got totally schooled by a "Northern Monkey" in Chris Wilder !!!

Pochettino was a complete nonentity before he moved to Spurs. Some of our supporters are making out that when he turned up at Spurs, he was some kind of world beating manager. He wasn't, he just inherited an excellent set of players.

Howe hasn't got more than 50 points with Bournemouth. Poch got to 56 points and 8th in the table before he joined us, and when he joined them the season before they were a newly promoted team near the bottom of the table. He had a little more going for him at that time than Howe would if we were to move for him now. I always remember how Saints were a tough team to beat under him against the bigger teams too.

Poch had to get rid of the underperforming players that we bought with the Bale money when he came in. We never had any really stand out individuals. Kane and Eriksen were doing well under Sherwood, as was Adebayor who was picking and choosing when to perform, and that was about it.
