Would you replace Ole with Poch?

It’s highly unlikely to happen any time soon but who on here would be in favour of this and why?

"Sometimes a situation cannot be managed."

Tell somebody like Fergie that. He had players hate each other yet play together and win a treble.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He also had to sell top players because the situation couldnt be managed (Beckham, RVN)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Selling those players was an example of him managing situations
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, they are examples of him not being able to manage the situation so removing (selling) it instead

In this analogy the club is clearly the situation, not each individual player. Hence Fergie's ethos that no player is bigger than the club.
You said these situations couldn't be managed so there was nothing pich could do not to be sacked.
Fergie is a clear example of managing every kind of situation the top level for over 2 decades

No.

Ole should be given another two windows and let's see how the club is by Xmas 2020

Rooney was bigger than the club as was proven when SAF was nearly crying when he had to tell the media Wayne has handed in a transfer request Ive seen him so upset!

Ole's going to stay at the wheel. His signings have been astute (although not given enough support) and we're rebuilding. What tickles me pink is the possibility of facing Jose's Spurs. They don't have the right back line to park a bus! We'll see Paunch again, and he'd be best to go back to the continent for a few seasons.

It’s an interesting one, Liverpool were in a similar position with Rogers when Klopp became available, (similar in that he was an upgrade on what they currently had, Klopp did actually have titles on his CV unlike Pochettino).

The myth was that Rogers nearly won the league then was sacked, but he had a further season and a bit before Liverpool pulled the trigger.

It was probably a difficult decision to make as Rogers was quite popular but it was the right call for the future of the club.

Pochettino is a better coach than Ole, no question IMO, but do we want to go down the road of ripping up this “project” to start a new one? Or is the easy decision actually to keep Ole when we should be ruthless and go all out for the better coach?

I'd be wary taking him just now. He needs a break and we should reassess in the summer. Last season, their league form ended badly and carried on pretty much this season. Their run to the CL final masked many of the issues.

I also think Ole's plan is important. Even if he doesn't reap what he sows here.

Clearly a few of our board experts are hedging their bets in the question in the OP

Poch couldn't sell Toby, Rose nor Eriksen. SAF would have had them out the door.
