He had to go, cannot understand all the soppy sentimental rubbish I am hearing about him tonight. His job was simply untenable. Should have happened a month or so back.

Levy is making excuses for his buy nothing policy.
That left a "talented squad" with 5 players who were intent on leaving, and no longer backed the manager.
This is a case of Levy shifting the blame.

You know, it might be best if the damned club got relegated now!
That would be the best lesson Levy could get.

As usual, I called it correctly. The other silly sausages going all goey over a manager that has not won an away Prem game since January and just six games out of 25, are all still wallowing in self pity.

"calling it correctly" simply means you had a decent bet on Levy's character, nothing else.
No knowledge of football, or clubhouse problems, or anything.
Don't kid yourself that you prediction had ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR THINKING. It did not.
Its just what Levy did to find a SCAPEGOAT.
