Time to back the team

I am an ardent fan of what Poch did to Spurs, even through the period when Spurs didn't have a home ground, and even through the 500 odd days when Poch didn't spend any money at all - unlike other managers. Yet he got us CL on a bounce and a final too. Poch spent £350m approx, in 5 years. YES 5 years!!

That's almost what another club's manager spent in 1 transfer window. Yes 1 transfer window!

For me, Poch remains a magician and you only have to look at the tributes from the likes of Kane and Dele to realise how much he meant to the players.

But at the end of the day, the club has made a decision and that's a business decision first, before it is a footballing one.

As a Spurs fan, I will always back the club. I won't stop supporting it because we got rid off the most popular manager we ever had.

I won't stop supporting it, no matter what. I am not for or against the ne manager.

The new manager- Jose as it's been announced, will also get my backing.

Because I want the best for my club. I want Jose to succeed. Just like I did want Poch to succeed.

We need to unify and help the new manager. We want our club to get back to top 4 and do well in CL.

Let's leave the tribal sentiments, and just focus on getting behind the lads.

Come On You Spurs

Good article mate. Anybody that does not get behind a new manager when he is first appointed, cannot be classed as a true supporter. Opinions may change as it all unfolds, but he has to be given a chance.

Such a hypocrite.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not really mate, I supported the last manager 100 per cent when he first turned up. I wanted him out the last 12 months when the results were absolutely relegation form.

Difference is you want our new manager out before he has even managed a game.

It is you that is being a hypocrite. Give a serial loser five years, yet give a serial winner not even a game. Laughable.

Why is it a business decision and not a footballing decision? I don't get that conclusion.

Football club is a business first and foremost. The club has spent huge on the new stadium and the facilities that are world class and thus expensive. With the results we are getting right now, being out of the European places doesn't bode well for the finances.

So it is a business decision first.

As an ex-player, part of me can't help feeling that way

Players clearly didn't show any desire or passion on the pitch. I don't believe Poch lost his touch but more a collective bunch of them caused disharmony in the dressing room. I know which ones probably did the most damage. Lest we forget.

absolutely mate

You know how much I am gutted as I loved Poch but in the end, I support the club and will back the new manager

We have paid off Poch well and the baldy has given him an outstanding endorsement which even states that Poch and his staff will be in the folklores of the club.

Time to move on. Jose will be at home in London. When he managed United he was staying in a hotel. He'll have Kane, Dele, Son, Ndombele to manage Good mix
