My Take!

Most of you know that I was very much a Pochettino person, 100% behind him in everything.

I was on the golf course in Mauritius yesterday when I got the news he had left Spurs, I hadn’t been playing great, but my game went downhill quicker than an Aurier challenge!

Shocked as I was, it was nothing compared to my reaction when I got into the clubhouse to see that Mourinho had been appointed.

At first I was just shocked and then I became angry at this person usurping our beloved manager. The rest of the day was me thinking I would wake up to find it was all a nightmare, and all was well in the Spurs World, except I wasn’t😳

24 hours later, still a bit shell shocked but with realism kicking in, I accept that decisions have been made and we the supporters, have to look forward and not backwards. The club is what is important and that will be my focus as always.

Whether we like it or not, Mourhino is now the coach and we can only hope he does indeed get the club moving forward again. I think only Sandy & Don are happy with this decision on here.

Whilst most blamed Levy & Sandy/Don blamed Poch, I think the players need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror.

Certain individuals have not performed to their previous high levels, Rose being one in particular. I think Toby has also been well below his best this season, Dele needs to work hard and start showing us his form of 18 months ago.
One thing we can be sure of, our defending will improve under Jose and this might be the impetus for the forwards to gain confidence.

Once again I say it is the CLUB which is important, individuals come and go!🙃
