Tomorrow`s game at West Ham

First game in charge for the new manager. I am not suddenly expecting a thumping victory, you cannot just magically turn around the awful form of the past nine months with a change of manager, and expect it to all be rosy from the start.

Months and months without an away Prem win, is not suddenly going to mean that suddenly with Mourinho in charge Spurs will be going to away grounds and start to win from the off. I would take a draw tomorrow against a team that always consider Spurs as their Cup Final. And with a lot of our supporters now going into overdrive about how they now expect a comfortable Spurs win, that is very arrogant, and is more or less giving a team talk to West Ham before a ball is kicked.

All I ask tomorrow is a decent performance, and if Spurs could get a win then that would be great, but I am not judging Mourinho on this one game, whatever the final score. Be interesting to see what the first team is under the new manager, will it give a inkling of the future, or will he just pick tried and tested players, to get through a difficult first match.

What am I expecting from the manager? Firstly just to steady the ship in the Prem, then hopefully get past Olympiacos midweek, and have a real shot at the CL again, two legged knockout football, anything can happen as we saw last season. Nothing to say it cannot be repeated again this season, under a serial winner of cup competitions.

On our previous manager for what it is worth, I thank him for the football on display in the first two or three seasons he was at the club, but when it all started to unravel, it quickly went downhill, and he had no real answers, and his position become untenable. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give him 6/10, CL yes, but ultimately won nothing. I still think Harry Redknapp did just as well, took a team bottom of the table when he arrived to CL in a couple of seasons. Anyway we have now moved on to another chapter in our history, so no point on dwelling on the past.

I am now willing to draw a clean slate on all the players, I shall not be saying so and so should not be playing, or so and so should be playing. The new manager will decide who should be in the team, so I shall be giving them all a chance. If players want to go, then fair enough, if players are not deemed good enough, then also fair enough, l will say if I think they are not good enough, but I will not be calling players clowns and an utter disgrace, that is not what true Spurs supporters do. Nothing wrong with thinking their may be a better player in the squad, but to start to insult players is just not on.

Anyway we move on, and let`s see how tomorrow goes. COYS

Expecting a pretty straightforward win. Get through the first 15 mins and our newly motivated players should show their quality.

West ham are a complete shambles. Were lucky Newcastle didn't put 6 past them in their last home game. Anything less than a win is a very poor result.

Not being funny mate, but why are you expecting a straightforward win, when Spurs are in awful form both home and away, and lost at home the last time they played West Ham, who themselves were in pretty awful form away from home back then.

I am hoping for a win of course, but no way would I say tomorrow is straightforward, it could be anything but.

I have a feeling that he might. He's desperate for Kane to stay at the lane, and also to get him on his good side.
