Support the manager. Support the team.

Good morning everyone.

Let's all get behind the manager and the team tonight at home. First match for José at home.

We have to carry on and not create our own problems through any bitterness toward Levy and how it ended. I was sad and gutted for Poch. But it's not like he is dead. He just got the sack. It's a results game. The memories and bond we had with him will be there forever.

But we all support THFC here. Let's qualify for the CL tonight and give the team and the manager the backing and confidence to rescue the season.

Sizz, break ups are difficult but you need to accept decision(s) won't be reversed. Pochettino was a fantastic manager for us and wasn't backed nearly as well as he deserved but that's on Levy and if he was never going to give him funds then a new manager was the second best option.

Muzzle sounds like a fanboy

Worst kind of fan

He should support Newell Old Boys then he can feel and wear Mauricio Pochettino pyjamas to bed

He is What is wrong with this once great Club.

Doesn’t support the team...is in love with an individual. He’s like them South Korean Sonny fans. Sentiment was your managers biggest downfall.

That CL final was in the bag if you had Jose at the helm...but Poch and his emotions destroyed what could be a once in a lifetime chance. However that was until you got in Jose...his CV is unquestionable he is a born winner and strangely it seems like a few struggle to accept that at a club that has become renowned for shying from real success.

P.s Kyle Walker should be available again by next season again...you were right he’s got no brain.

Nobody HAS to like the new manager, as long as we all support the team right?

Some people are saying they think Mourinho is a changed man. Well that's nice but the only way this will be proven is over a long stretch as Spurs manager, not 1 game and a few press conferences.

Exactly this Spurts.

I ain’t falling for this new “humble Jose” b0llocks for a second.

I don't know if I am or not. Just have to wait and see what happens.

Still no guarantees he can win us something despite his resume. I will of course be hoping he does well with us.

There's no doubt Mourinho will bring a short-term boost. The question is what state he's going to leave Spurs in when he's left a complete clusterfack at his last few clubs.

That's the issue for me. I'll happily support Mourinho as long as he's delivering for the club, but I'll never rest especially easy while he's at the helm because he has such a bad record of souring everything after 2 seasons in a job.

I still think the manner of his sacking and replacement do a huge disservice to Pochettino, but that's in the past now. The bigger issue for me is that Levy has taken a huge risk with Mourinho, and history tells us that the short-term success he could well bring may well come at the cost of the team's long-term health.

Only time will tell, but in the meantime Mourinho has my tentative, heavily sceptical support.

Arguably, United were in more of a mess when he joined. They still are in a mess!

Did a brilliant job at Chelsea in his first stint as manager.

I just want a trophy. For once in my lifetime I'd like to see us lift another trophy. Whether he's here for 1, or 6 years, that's all I ask!!

Not gonna lie, I find you Jose fanboys f*cking nauseating.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A fan boy is someone who’s still got his todger stuck between the ex managers bum cheeks

It seems to me as though the majority have decided it makes sense to back one of the top 3 managers in Modern day football.

Loser...glad you’re not a City fan

Only one Managers name any decent fan will be singing tonight. Hopefully all the way through the game.

And it ain’t The Special Once.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would that be Juande Ramos ?????... Last man to win a trophy at Spurs ???
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sizzle doesn't wanna win trophies. He wants us to be the Spursy laughing stock of the Premiere League with no desire to win things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm starting to think he's not even a Spurs fan. Just some 12 year old troll looking for arguments
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Couldn’t agree more. Literally comes on so he can wind people up and cause controversy. What normal Spurs fan wants to belt out an old managers name in the most important game of our season ?yeh, like that’s going to really help matters. Thankfully the vast majority of Spurs fans are nothing like Sizzle who no doubt is bi polar. Most, if not all are now warming to Jose and finally we can move on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He has to do a lot more to win me over yet.
