Well what a campaign so far and although I hate the Tory party and all the evil selfish goblins that vote for them I must admit I have almost a grudging respect for the sheer amont of sh!thousery and fvckery that they have come up with between themselves and their rich donating chums.
In fact there is so much I thought I would make a list so as not to lose track of what these beIlsniffs are up to with the latest being that they have hard printed "19" into the DOB part of the postal vote so 18 and 19 year olds can't vote. Amazing.
Here are some more but please add any I have missed and your thoughts on what they're up to.
- Hard printed 19 on the DOB for postal vote forms
- Made up numbers on labour manifesto before it was released
- Edited BJ's wreath with old footage
- Edited out people laughing at BJ saying he could be trusted
- Fake twitter account
- Fake website with fake Labour manifesto
- Failing to release the report on Russian influence
- Lying about 50,000 new nurses
- Lying about number of new homes built
- They'll "get Brexit done"
- Placing Tory members into Labour events

I dont understand why people dont like Corbyn?
he's just an old guy who wants to help the normal people
----------------------------------------------------------------------
and will probably die before he has to clear up the financial mess his party will make with off the chart spending.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Any evidence to support this Devon? I've not seen anyone actually show it with figures that this will happen. Would be interested to see figures on it if you knew of any that were published?

Mate,Supposedly, the Tories have been trying to sort out the financial mess for the past decade with 1000's of people are dying from the cuts.
JC can't be any worse than these lot.

I'm the same mate, I get why people may not agree with policy, he's very socialist for the UK, but aas a man he seems genuine to me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can give you my perspective. It's not his policies for me, he's probably more socialist than I can naturally (would probably describe myself as centre-left) but in comparison to the other offerings I can certainly get behind his politics.
My biggest issue is I think he's been incredibly divisive for the Labour party as a whole with little to no thought as to how to integrate his policy objectives into the wider supporter base. The threat to deselect MPs who opposed him depressingly mirrors Johnson's move over Brexit. It feels to me that Corbyn treats moderate Labour the way Johnson treats remainers.
I feel he's been weak on Brexit, his campaigning during the referendum was lacklustre (if I'm being kind) and on too many issues his stance appears to have been 'wait and see' rather than decisive leadership.
The distractions and allegations within the party have been a welcome relief for the Tories frankly and I don't believe he's fulfilled his responsibilities to scrutinise the government particularly effectively.
I also don't feel he's a particularly effective communicator, he seems to do ok at PM Questions but outside of parliament he seems to lack conviction and authority imo.
Just my personal opinion though. And I'll still vote for him come the 12th December.

Financial Times says dfferently. There is however a massive black hole in the Tory manifesto.

It's one of the things that the Tories have done brilliantly (and deceitfully) ever since Blair and Brown - making out that they are safe guardians of the public finances and that Labour are reckless spenders.
Surprised to see Labour come out with those big spend policies actually, for that reason.

I'd be socialist myself so have always leaned towards him although don't agree with everything he puts forward. But do think he's not been strong enough since Brexit was put on the table and spent too long playing internal and external party politics in the last few years when he really should have been strong on uniting his own party and absolutley hammering the Tory's in parliment, not nice sound bites here and there.
But I'm behind him fully now (despite not being Brittish so can't actually vote ) but this election will have a major impact on Ireland, especially the North, so I'm really interested in it.

I fully expect a Tory win with a very healthy majority

We're absolutely feked if the Tories get a majority. I'm hoping with Lib Dem, SNP, DUP and Labour support, the WAB in it's current form is voted down.

Having said that about the Tories, every time I listen to Corbyn it’s really quite clear that economically he hasn’t got a clue. I wonder if it’s worth a couple of Corbyn terms just to let the youth of today realise that.
