You do still get some good deals.

You either get good deals on high price items, or it's just old stock they're trying to get rid of.

Most prices are the same they were earlier on in the year. The prices gradually go up through-out the year so they can legally say the items have had a price reduction.

Black Friday relies on stupid people.

Ring floodlight HD outdoor camera for £169 including Amazon echo show (which I sold for £50) meaning I got the camera for £119. Promotion ended and now the camera alone is £249.

In fairness a lot of the deals are nothing special. So many 20% off deals which actually happen all year round. I bought some Alexa operated LED lights for my sons birthday back in September for £17 reduced from £25. Currently they're a lightning deal at £20.

You just have to be selective, and know what you are looking for. Websites like idealo chart the price of goods over time so you can see how low prices have dropped historically.

Should be rainbow Friday to keep the lefties happy.
