First off, thanks for the kind words and I am fine.


I am not sure if I will come back and should have left years ago.


Only came on the old bbc606 site when Rangers FC and bluenoses were getting pelters from some Celtic fans, and nearly nine years later, posters are still playing that sad card on who I support, which is one reason I do not do social media, other than here and BBC HYS.


I am the easiest going guy you could imagine in real life, until provoked, insulted, patronised or misrepresented, and that happens too often here, and as posters claim, politics lacks integrity and decency now, and I have allowed myself to lower standards.


In recent weeks I been accused of an identity crisis regarding my sexuality, nationality, political party, leave or remain stance, Trump and bojo support, backing all Israel actions, being a bigot for following certain teams, having no politics degree and not going to uni, racial profiling the London Bridge attack, hating black and muslim people etc.


I have also had my job, family, drinking and non drinking, religion and country mocked or abused.Now all is fair in love and war, but this is a football forum, debating politics, and yes when attacked I can go hard back, but seriously, over recent years, people who proclaim to be liberal left, remain and republican have behaved no better than the far right, Trump or posh tory elite here.


On the day I was banned for clashing with racist sizzle, and saying jihadi Unman Khan had no place in the uk, I had been told a relative was at London Bridge, and had visited my mum who was in tears.My bro in law is in bits after his partner died a month or so back from a lung disease, and then mum found out my sister has to get a kidney transplant from her twin brother, as one kidney is down to 16 per cent output.


A warning to other posters in where political hate goes occurred when I fell out with my late brother in law over him being left wing, remain, republican and atheist and saying so at a Christmas dinner.We met to discuss the fall out and almost came to blows in December two years ago, and we never spoke again, and now he is dead.That is what remain and leave, left and right, republican and loyalist politics does to family and friends, and we see it here daily.


I should not have said what I did to sizzle, even though he is toxic, and what is ironic is he does not wind me up, because I view him as a parody, and asked him recently if he was being attacked by white racists, did he think I would step up for him, and he said YES I WOULD, as would WEARE in his opinion, so if I was genuinely accused of judging people by race in those posts, it was not about skin tone, and all about people who hate the uk and its way of life and people.


I choose my words poorly, and was in the middle of a post to tell sizzle I was pulling his chain, when I discovered I was banned, but lets face it, I can sound racist and right wing at the best of times, so no excuses from me as I DO hold views on ALL immigration on a mass scale, on loyalist and British identity and culture and faith and social issues, so I am not pretending to be something I am not.I am not saying I am bullied or whatever line rivals take, but Have bitten my tongue, let stuff go and left the site many, many times, only to return to see myself and other so called right wing, or non Left wing posters being demonised, while remain and labour were almost infallible and untouchable.




Criticism of one side from me was partisan and strong, but it was not validation of the other side, although that is how it was distorted, and again why I think it wise to stay away?


That is why a break at least from here is cool, and I will take up your idea of a possible return after the GE, but the politics thread and similar threads have a majority opinion that I am always going to crash up against, so I may just leave it and give Yeez peace, and myself….we will see.


It is an addiction and I snort politics daily.


In case I do not return, Happy Christmas and peaceful new year to you admin, and all here, from all sides of the spectrum on the site.It is a great site, with great punters and I have enjoyed laughing, chatting and being passionate about life here.
