Now, it's been two times that whilst at Asda I have heard a song which I'm pretty sure is from the 80's. It's a bit of a rock/ballad love song and contains the words 'Hold me now' (which is repeated quite often) and later on the lyrics 'this love was meant for me'. I've tried all over the internet but to no avail. Could someone help me out please? It's definitely not the Thompson Twins!

I was going to say The Thomson Twins, but then read your last line.

Surely it must be Hold Me Now by the Thompson twins.

Same thing happened with me in Asda
The song was eventually Lene Marlin - Sitting down here or something like that
Happened another time with Shania Twain - Still the one
I knew i knew them but couldnt remember for the life of me and i ran out of time to Shazam.. Was about 3/4 months till i heard it again

I reckon you mean "You're the Inspiration" by Chicago.
