Not surprised

About the VAR decisions today again when I learnt Michael Oliver was responsible for var.

Congrats to United on the win.

We were lucky on a couple penalty decisions but walker should have had two red cards and numerous fouls were not given in the final 15 minutes against city.
Ref was completely on your side in the final 15 or so.

Are you implying there was something wrong with the decisions?

Well, the ref waved play on and he saw the action live but was overruled by someone hundreds of miles away.
Also, play continues and the ball went to the other end before the ref came all the way back to blow for a penalty. Now compare this with the TAA hand ball.
Would you be happy if the Liverpool first goal was overruled and a penalty awarded to City?

This is the inconsistency that we are frustrated about.

The ref saw it live and thought it wasn't a pen. VAR reviewed it and a pen was awarded because the ref made a clear and obvious error. VAR working exactly as it should do.

Oh Oliver was var ref, thats why var was perfect today, got everything spot on. Pep and City fans think anytime it touches an arm in the box is a penalty, those arent the rules Both never pens and the Utd pen was clear, clumsy by BS, cant believe Taylor missed it, Oliver had the balls to do the right thing and correct it best ref in the league since Clattenburg left.

Most commentators/experts agreed with the VAR decision.

Man U was the better team on the day and deserved to win.
City appeared to be sluggish, not very tactically well prepared, and also this team seems to be very small in stature? They were too often dominated in the air throughout the game.

Well if they need to look at it closely then they're not just going to halt the game immediately and wait for the check. No I wouldn't have been happy with that, because it would have been the wrong decision.
