Pepe or Zaha? Pepe edges in stats

Pepe has two goals and two assists while Zaha has one goal and two assists so what’s all the fuss about Zaha like he’s sliced bread?

Pepe is young 24 and with time will adapt to PL and prove every worth to Arsenal. Zaha can stay where he is or probably will join Chelsea or City or even Liverpool we don’t need him he’s surplus.

While Pepe could go either way, I never understood the obsession with Zaha who is at his correct level (although if we keep sinking it'll be our level too!)

Think Zaha can go up a level to a club like Everton whilst remaining 1st XI. Think he's too old to make big improvements beyond that now though. Zaha may have worked out wonderfully for us, who knows, but I wanted Pepe > Zaha in the Summer and I'm still happy with that decision. If we can get the most out of Pepe over the next 5-6 years he'll go down as a great signing.

I'm fairly confident with Pepe, he works really hard, seems very determined and strong in character and has shown glimpses of the talent there. People digging at him have to be realistic - he's come into a side that's been a mess and hasn't had a chance to play in a side that plays even halfway decent attacking football.

I think he'll come good and for that reason given his age, he's the one I'd rather have.

Every time Zaha comes to the Grove he seems to tear us a new a$$h0le - and frankly he plays for Palace, they have a lot less possession.

These aren't proper stats these are just goals and assists

If Zaha played in an an attacking team you’d see his true worth. Given freedom last year he showed class, shackles are very much on this year. Good enough and would make a difference for the chasing pack outside City I’d think

This.

Personally i'd love to see Wilf play for a top side to see how much he'd improve. No, i don't think he'd be the next Ronaldo but i do feel that he'd surprise many.

As for Pepe, a slower start than i was expecting but he looks more than decent

Once the team is settled and playing well then we'll really see the best of Pepe. I've never doubted his ability and think some people were writing him off way too early. I stopped doing that a long time ago. After a certain Mr Bergkamp taught me a lesson

Zaha is average. Never understood the hype.

Why would you compare Zaha to sliced bread - very strange
