Well done Scotland. A tremendous night.
The people of Scotland let it be known that we choose hope over fear. People over elitism. Inclusiveness over xenophobia.
A new hope for the future
Merry Christmas Everyone
A New Hope

I think you’ll find that was the SNP’s fault.
I had a really bad cold and had to get some antibiotics so I got a prescription from the doctor and wadya know? I didn’t have to pay for it!
What a freeloadin khunt am urr

Currently on week two of a chest infection. Still not been to docs. I've not been to doctors in over 3 years. Keep waiting on things to clear up by themselves. Last infection a few years ago I left for a month but my lungs started bleeding and I had to get a chest X Ray incase it was more sinister. Within 5 days of having antibiotics I was fine.
I'm so against the use of them, as it will be humanities undoing. Mother in law was prescribed them low dose daily for over 5 years. She was a walking bioweapon.

Isn't the problem with antibiotics the misuse rather than the use of them? If you take the correct dosage over the prescribed time, they should kill pretty much everything they're supposed to, but if you only take half of the pills because you're "feeling better" you end up leaving the ones that resisted, which then go on to breed and become more and more resistant.

Watched an experiment where a guy took a bacteria and put it in a petri dish with low dose anti biotics, after a day he looked at it and used his eyes to pick the healthiest looking bacteria and moved it to a new Petri dish with a stronger concentration of antibiotics. By the time he was on his fourth Petri dish, the bacteria was immune. We are conducting a similar experiment by the nature of the law of large numbers. Dish out enough antibiotics to enough people and you can be sure a good percentage of those will mess up and create a resistant strain.
