Lingard's form

His form as picked up and while he'll never be a top player he is still a good option in the squad. Saying that, it seems that personal issues had affected his form and when he finally admitted it to Ole he was able to sort himself out. Sometimes we forget these guys are human like the rest of us and have issues in life that we're not aware of.

Who knew that Rosso has been ill.

That's in poor taste.

In this fishbowl life, it's never easy. But credit to Lingard, aside from him being open about it he's just another same human being with family duties and love.

And he's been repaying some us back with some good form lately.

Maybe i have been a little too harsh on him during his drop in form spell. My bad. Apologies mate.

Family first always, that said, looks like Ole handled the situation well, supported him when needed but called him out when needed too.

Reminds me of a previous manager

I agree Redas, poor taste indeed. Sure it was French who mothered Lingard

For those who don't know, he's had to take care lf his two siblings whilst his mother is too ill to do so, i think one isn't even teenage age.

His grandmother is also seriously ill and he has a daughter of his own.

Poor taste but that’s comedy, decent effort tbf.

Hope Lingrard feels better for speaking about it all with the manager, just talking about these kinds of things and knowing you can talk to your bosses etc can help a lot to lift the pressure.

Get a grip lads. It wasn’t poor taste.

You guys are too easily offended.
