Craig Sandercock new Rovers coach

I can't say I know him either, except for when he left Manly for Newcastle I remember the Manly club were heavily criticised for allowing Sandercock to leave without putting up a fight (money) to keep him.
I don't know how good of a coach he will turn out to be, but if I was a Hull K.R supporter I would be pleased they didn't sign Kevin Moore.
I don't usually like to bag a bloke (except Gus Gould & Manly) but to me Moore was dragged along by his late fathers coat tails.
Even as a player he was well looked after at Canterbury when all he could be classed as was a handy reserve grade player.
Moore had everything at his finger tips coaching the Bulldogs, money, excellent reserves who are the 2011 minor premiers and in the G/Final this week as favorites, so there was no question of lack of depth with-in the club. The final knife into his back is the rumours (from a players mouth to me) Moore had trouble communicating with the players, instead of talking to the individual player himself he would relay a message through one of his many assistant coaches and it didn't go down to well with the players and the form of the team showed as much because after Moore left and taken over by Jimmy Dymock the entire atmosphere changed and they won something like 5 out of 7 to just miss the semi's in 9th position.

Perhaps Rovers were wise not to go with Kevin Moore, but Craig Sandercock still seems a strange appointment to me.

I don't have a real rugby league background but a former workmate was a 'ull KR supporter so I have followed the ups and downs since 1983.

Justin Morgan wasn't exactly a prized catch but did alright. Good luck Craig.
