Every game the lad puts in some fantastic tackles. His timing is exceptional. Even when he is making those tackles in the box I don't feel worried that he is going to give a penalty away.
He has only given away 6 fouls in 15 PL appearances this season, which amazing considering he is 3rd on the tackles made table behind Pereira and Ndidi. Pereira has given 26 fouls away and Ndidi 24.
I know it is still early days, but I honesty can't remember seeing (or at least recall) a better tackler for United since I have been watching.
Still needs to work on his attacking play, but defensively he has been exceptional.

One on one he’s world class. Even after a few games at Palace it is/was clear he’s exceptional at that. He can probably already be described as a world class defensive full back if not a world class all round full back.

Have to ask why he has to make so many last ditch tackles.
Some yesterday were very good. But prefer my defenders to not be along these.

A bit of a misconception. Most of his tackles were one on one or recovering from other people.
The only real issue I've noticed with his defending is positioning at the back post when defending crosses.

Coming up against players with a bit more experience and ability to go down than say DCL or Richarlison and comma ref then he will come unstuck.

His sliding tackles are amazing, clever players will never draw a foul. But terrible Watford ones will
