I do think him and the likes of Lacazette are devicive figures and I am concerned that Arteta will struggle ith these two.
Nothing about Auba strikes captaincy material. He seems to do what we he wants, likes certain tweets he shouldn't be and his general conduct isn't what it should be for a captain. As a player, he is virtually invisible in most games and hardly a inspiration as a captain
Now we got his brother tweating about Arteta not having the experience.
Honestly think him and Laca have caused a lot of the changing room problems of late
Auba should not be Arsenal Captain

Question is who does stand out as captain material?
I don't think it's going to be something Arteta changes until he has a better understanding of the squad.

Bellerin.

Auba should be sold we can do better he can score no doubt but lacks footballing brain unlike Lacazette but Laca is so lazy maybe Arteta can highlight that. Martinelli is way better than Aubameyang and can improve reminds me of young Ronaldo hopefully he adds skills to his game.
I want Kolasinac as Captain the man is steel.

Laca lazy???? He is one of 3 players you can depend on to hustle all game. The other 2 are Torreira and Martinelli. Lacazette may be many things, but LAZY is not one of them.

If we could get 70mill for Auba, I'd sell him. Once he loses his pace, he will be pretty poor. We sold Henry and stayed at the samish level (2007 -2015)...it's a team game and we are over reliant on Auba's goals at the moment. If we could distribute those goals and in the same time shore up the midfield and defense, I'd sell asap!!

There were rumours about a cash + Jovic deal for Auba from Madrid not so long ago. Would bite your hand off for that.

Bellerin ....dont think that our experienced players would appreciate him as a captain.
Xhaka was the right choice. Players look up to him.

I'm generally biased towards outfield players for captain because they move with the ball and can command the other players going forward and defending.

Leno is a sound shout, Arsenal ideally need the captain marshalling that stye of a defence! Give it to Leno, make a change or four and focus on stop leaking goals... the attack takes care of itself when it’s working and it will not work whilst the foundations are falling apart under them.
But then it’s the curse of the captaincy and do we want to lose Leno?
