Wolves v Man City Preview

Date: Friday 27th December
Venue: Molineux
Kick off time: 19.45

On Friday Wolves will welcome the current league champions to Molineux for the second meeting of the season for the two sides. In the first encounter, in October, at the Etihad Stadium Wolves ran out 2-0 winners with both goals being scored by flying winger Adama Traore.

Since that game Wolves have lost only 1 game, a 2-1 home defeat by Spurs. City have lost 2 games since their encounter with Wolves, a 3-1 defeat at Anfield and a 2-1 home defeat to their Manchester rivals.

The loss to Spurs halted Wolves’ 11 game unbeaten run but they immediately bounced back with a 2-1 away win against Norwich on Saturday.

Man City go into the game on the back of a 3-1 home win against Leicester leaving them just 1 point behind the Foxes who are still just about clinging on to their second place in the table.

The game will be shown live on Amazon Prime

Gem’s prediction: 1-2

This preview thread comes to you live from Muro Hospital, Mallorca where the O.P. is lying in bed with 3 broken ribs and a tear to the lung. But just like the team he supports, he may not always be at his best but he will keep battling on and he will never, ever give up.

Lose or draw and we stay in 8th. Still not too shabby all things considered.

Unfortunately for us in the next round of games at the weekend all our rivals have easier games than us.
Whilst we are playing Liverpool:
Newcastle play Everton
Palace play Southampton
Man U play Burnley

Actually with Jamie rat face Vardy on the field as well, between these 2 sides they have a fair collection of gargoyles

A win tomorrow will put City in 2nd place and narrow the gap between them and Liverpool to 11 points

Fantastic win by Liverpool tonight. In a class of their own this season. And yet they might lose at home on Sunday

Leo Bonatini has had a quite successful loan with Guimares in Portugal and would be interested in signing permanently with them when his loan expires at the end of the season.
