Possible import from Southampton if Eddie returns to the Emirates, wages of 50K a week. He scored 22 goals for Brum last season, including a couple against us.

Interestingly, the quality of his goals improved throughout the season. He started as a poacher, and finished as a quality striker. My only concern is there are no headed goals, but if he can add a dozen to our tally this season, why not?

Not a bad shout if he's available as I remember he single handedly beat us last season with his presence and lethal finishing. Will the owner finally get the moths out of his wallet in a January transfer window though?

Southampton will let a recent signing that offers a goal threat (albeit he hasn't scored yet) and they bring on almost every game come to us at a time when they need all of their better players.
Not sure you understand how the game works Bielsa.

Rather him than Brewster that's for sure. Would be an excellent striker to have in the squad and better than bringing on Stevens when we're 2-1 down to an immediate promotion rival.

Forgot to mention, hopefully its either Adams and Brewster come in for Eddie, or we add Adams and KEEP Eddie. Sheff Utd had 4 good strikers, wouldn't hurt if we did too.

He would be brilliant but can’t see him being available.
Amazes me that people can say we need two strikers to replace a striker that will be recalled because he doesn’t get much game time. What’s the third choice going to do?
