Match Facts

Since losing 6-4 in September 2010, Leeds have lost none of their last four home league games against Preston, keeping a clean sheet in each match (W3 D1).

Preston have won just one of their last 10 league games against Leeds (D3 L6), a 3-1 win in April 2018.

Leeds have won their last three league matches on Boxing Day, including a 4-1 away win at Preston in 2016.

Preston have only lost two of their last 13 away league matches played on Boxing Day (W4 D7 L2), although those defeats have come in the last four such outings.

Leeds' Patrick Bamford has scored six goals in his last eight league games, after failing to score in each of his previous 10 in the competition.

After losing four consecutive games without scoring, Preston have picked up seven points from their last nine (W2 D1).

Boxing Day battle i think, Preston looking to continue their good form and The Whites looking to bounce back, hate to say it but i can's see a clean sheet in this game, but 2-1 with Bamford and Harrison scoring will do for me

Cooper was awful. Too many mistakes. Ayling was dire first half, especially passing. Philips wasn't in the game first half.

Alioski blasting the ball over the bar, from 6 meters out, instead of just controlling the shot, and putting it in the net.
But, no, he wanted a spectacular goal.. sigh. Lucky that didn't cost us

He had a good shot later that hit the post though

Would have scored two on another day

Yes, that was unlucky

It was important not to lose that game and in the end we got a deserved point.

Klich cost us their goal. Was a good goal but Klich should not have been so easily dispossessed outside their box. It was 3 v 1 on the break

Ayling was miles behind the player when he should have been right there. He was also the culprit when Preston scored against us at Deepdale

Glad we got the point, but we have shown teams now we are vulnerable. We deffo look far more dangerous in the box with Eddie on, though bamford is great at holding onto the ball.

I think weve dropped too many points now to keep our big points lead. Cant see us getting 3 points against brom or brum . Brentford have an easier run of games coming up, can see us dropping into the play offs come mid jan and yeah without signings, we will be in a world of pain.

Bielsa should have been a bit more ruthless in the past fixtures, i.e give Eddie a start, mix up the midfield and defence, give berardi, Clark (too late) and others motivation to up their performances to try and win regular slots in team. 2 points from 9 is poor, dont try to dress this up anyway else. Kudos to Preston tonight they bossed us for most of the game.

Preston also have a kind run of games after tonight.

In no order; Boro, Reading, Charlton, Blackburn (minus Dack) Wigan, Barnsley. They've played there hardest game for a good month or so

Could score some points in those.
