How many records will Liverpool break

So far, they are on course to win 5 major trophies in a single season.

If they are to continue their current form throughout the remainder of the season, they will surpass City’s points record.

If they are to remain unbeaten for the rest of the season, not only will they be the 2nd team to do it in the PL, but they will overtake our 49 games unbeaten in the process.

It is not beyond the realms of possibilities for Liverpool to achieve all of the above (although I can’t see them winning both the CL & FA Cup).

And what makes it remarkable is they have done all this with a modest net spend, in comparison to the teams around them (or at least the teams that used to be around them).

I wonder how all the ex AKB who ridiculed me for saying to sack Wenger and replace him with Klopp feel 4 years later? DJ, Gunther, Godfather, Wenger’s Bodyguard, Gunnersaurus Rex, where you all at?

Don't know.

Liverpool are just streets ahead of the rest and they have done what other teams this season have failed to do, improve where they needed to. I don't buy into all these excuses, City not having enough money to buy a CB being the first of them.

City knew Kompany was leaving and ok, they won't have seen LaPorte's injury but surely somebody would be saying, "Pep, we look a bit short at CB if we get an injury", but yet they refused to go and find one.

Liverpool addressed the CB and GK issue, have added better depth to their squad and continue to do so and some players have come on leaps and bounds in the last 18 months - 2 years. They deserve all the success they are currently getting and do deserve to break many records with the fantastic club they have built.

Sheffield United will beat them

Although I will constantly argue that the net spend figure is false due to the coutinho nonsense there is no question Klopp has been a world class manager for pool and we are seeing something remarkable right now. So fair play to op as I distinctly remember giving him sheet for his opinions on Klopp and saying he would be a flop

Now if only someone would admit I was right about how difficult it was to keep us in top 4 for 21 years and how we'd love to start from that base again.

Why is the net spend nonsence due to Coutinho, you can’t sit there going on about us spending big on Van Dijk & Allison then discredit the Coutinho sale.

Disagree on the fact that you can’t say this that or the other, you can only live in this moment!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well you can say this is the best Premier League team ever but imo it’s far, far too soon for that.

Just one example of what’s being said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Right now yes but if we go on to win the league then this side is up there in the argument. Never mind how it gets on over the next few years.

Champions league finalists, champions league winners, record points without winning the league “if it happens” premier league winners!

I Think you’ve got to win the champions league to be classed as a great side, Utd 99 for example.

The Arsenal invincible side were obviously very good but if you look at that season the points total wasn’t massive and I don’t think they get the recognition because there wasn’t the CL win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes I agree, though personally wouldn’t have them in my top two. But they’re in the debate.

The problem is we’re only halfway through the season.

You’ll win it, but whether you’ll keep up the form that is blowing everyone away remains to be seen, which is why it’s too soon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What if the form gets better?

The clean sheets are starting to come and the goals are to.

Could, would, should and if’s and buts go both ways.

On what planet is coutinho worth 130 million? Imagine we got 90 million for iwobi. Its the equivalent 😂
