Changes needed?

I didn't have the benefit (?) of attending on Thursday due to illness, but just reading Dunge's analysis of the debacle prompted me in to thinking about whether there is any underlying issue or can we broadly carry on as previous? Note - I'd expect some different players to start today given the 48 hour turnaround in matches, this article is more about our philosophy for the rest of the season.

We've generally had a great first half of the season but should we be worried about how we go forward from here? Most Leicester fans will not have been taking the talk of a title charge too seriously, any faint glimmer of hope in that direction I had was shut down with the Norwich result, and must, even for the most wildly optimistic amongst us (Stringer) have been completely expunged by the ruthless demonstrations of how far we are away from the top two in the last couple of games.

Yet - these players who looked lost at the KP two days ago were precisely the same ones who went to Anfield and nearly gained a draw earlier in the season. There may well be one key difference there though, does anybody who saw that match recall where Maddison/Praet were playing ie was Madders in no 10 rather than left wing? How many times does Brendan need to try leaving Chillers without support to realise it doesn't usually end well?

Even if so, it's difficult to be able to attribute the capitulation on Thursday to just this. Certainly we didn't seem to want to press as we have been doing. Have teams just worked us out?

I suppose what I'd like to hear are your thoughts on what we do for the rest of the season, more of the same or do we need changes? We will of course get a good pointer later today, a decent result in London and we may be rolling forward again, a poor performance indicating shot confidence may see us dropping down the table.

Looking for the bright side I suppose that the clamour for Ricardo, Chillwell, Soyuncu, N'didi, Tielemans and Maddison to move to a 'big' club may have taken a hit with Thursday's poor display!

Can see you getting beat by West Ham today. I see you finishing below Wolves.

Back to the OP I'd really like to see Tielemans, Barnes and Chillwell rested, the teams needs freshening up after our last 2 disaster performances.

Personally I think Wolves are a good bet for top 4. I know they still have to play Liverpool twice but they look a tougher side than Spurs or Chelsea. It probably depends on whether they can pick up wins over draws.

Talk about changes, only Kasper and Evans stay in!
