Whilst the current side are doing well, camaraderie in team and we’re aiming for promotion, it’s easy to forget players like O’Kane and what they go through.
Drops from prem to join big side and looking forward to future, was paired with Philips and drive side to early season success then it all went wrong and now completely out of favour.
It cannot be easy for players in these situations knowing that there is literally nothing you can do to make things work at your club and you have zero idea what your future holds.
It’s no judgement on player or club, just to say that professional sport is tough and fir some they can really see the dark side of a shirt career.

Matty. Made me laugh.
Jonty, I hear what you're saying. And I know
he's fought through injury (suffered while out
on loan). But, he's had every opportunity to
cancel that contract by mutual consent and
get on with his career elsewhere. He knew
he wasn't getting in MB's team.

He's enjoyed a fat salary for doing sweet fa for a LONG time, no? HR catastrophe, really - he won't play again for another big club so he's just milking us for what he can get. Won't forgive him for that needless and pathetic headbutt - was it Ipswich? at a crucial time...

Bloke is a league 2 footballer on a championship wage.
Can’t feel too sorry for him after he spent 6 months hiding between the blades of grass on elland road.

We have made him a multi-millionaire and you feel sorry for him? Don't know if this is tongue in cheek or sentimental twaddle, Jonty, but you are officially in in one-star territory. Happy New Year and keep the glass half-full.
