City at it again

Man City’s attendance figure for their last game was 54,407. Their stadium holds 55,017. Do the empty spaces look like 610 seats? This club just keeps on making its own rules up. They have one of the smallest fan bases globally out of the top teams yet they always seem to have such a high turnover and comply to FFP rule even though they spend what they want and never need to sell players.

Yet football fans want them to win the league every season and to save football.

To all the clowns that want them to win the league every year – go boil your heads.

I know City fans that say that their stadium isn't full even when it is classed as a full house.

They think it is the old brigade who have season tickets but don't show for most games

they probably have to give them away bogof like Everton?

Isn’t it based off tickets sold, not people attending?

Who cares?

There were plenty of empty seats visible at the ground, people decided not to go. Might well have bought the tickets but felt they couldnt get themselves motivated to attend the match when theyve already conceded the title.

you cannot have adequate fan segregation with the numbers quoted.

That's exactly it. Well, the old and the young brigade, you see a fair few in the family stand. Irritates the hell out of me as they don't put them up on the ticket exchange, although the club have brought in measures to hopefully address that. The Leicester game, i was looking for two together but there wasn't any.

In terms of the attendance figures, using the seats sold rather than taken up aren't us making them up or anything, it's the FAs rules.

That tweet isn't right though btw, as there's no one in the top tier at all, for pl games that's normally full. Looks like a carabou cup game to me.
