We didn't spend millions on squad players. They were ince first team players who over time were replaced in the first team as the squad progressed.

Progression is when you get better, in case you're not aware, since it's been years since that happened at Everton.

Although if it's any consolation for you I think you'll do well next season, although I have been saying that for a couple of seasons now. You now have the manager to do it.

So have you, only the reasoning is different. They were crap. Taking a random game, against Leicester last month, you had £100m on the bench. Baines, Tosun, Schederlin(sp), Kean, Bernard.

Yeah sure you did. Holgate, Keane, Mina, Digne, sidibe, Iwobi, Davies, Sigurdsson, Richardson and Calvert-Lewin are youth players.

If they had youth players in the 1 it means Tosun, Schederlin(sp), Kean, Bernard are flops, which is saying something considering they are Everton players.

guys... we can go back 20 years and know teams get leaked for betting at anfield.

if that team is an internet nothing or a real leak depends on who's put it out.

we need a bit of a reality check from some fans. it was different for me when the title wasn't on the line and I'd go mad klopp done this stuff but now hes got the title to go for. same as last year. fa cup goes in the bin.

reality check is spurs next and away.

that means:

alisson could play today but adrian deserves a game.
taa will not play.gomez cant be his cover so its Williams
gomez cant play rcb so ki is last resort.
vvd cant be risked again so Phillips comes in.
robbo was subbed last game but only.milner in reserve and hes needed at cm now. gomez could play it but again cnt today so larouci is only options
no fabinho, no ox, no keita = 3 fit seniors cms. so lallana, Jones and minamino makes sense.
3 forwards, shaqiri out. so origi, brewster and Elliott are the reserves.


either klopp plays first team.or he gives everyone a break and gets us into shape for the run in.

Thursday to next weekend is a decent little break. sorry.

How Liverpool’s U23s line up against Manchester City today:

We’ve got a decently strong team today though the players missing are noticeable.

Hoever, Williams, Chirivella, Elliott, Jones, and Brewster all missing which means they’re likely with the #LFC first team

Herbie kane sent on loan to get him sold. chrivella should be sold off this Jan or will leave in summer. theres not too many others tbh who'd deserve an fa.cup game that's not actually listed.

also on above. you'd swear jags thinks it's the 1970s and theres only 12 players in the everton team plus reserves who are all local kids.

theres not a team.in the prem who've not spent millions to get a 25man squad and everton are right up at the top of the list in spend. move on. find something clever to banter with.

Good job they can’t make Europe, ffp would murder them.

another cup selection that only a liverpool fan could care about.
it's a shame really but that's modern day english cup football. okay for the liverpool fans to see the progress of their youth, but hardly what the neutral wants to watch.
i wonder if they made the prize money more than the pathetic europa league it would once again become more popular.

as for prize money.

we took 4 or 5 miles for the super cup and 10mil dollars for.world.club.

add 60-80mil out of cl TV money and I'm sorry but the fa cup simply cannot raise prize.money enough to make it equal.

spurs. arsenal. utd. liverpool. cant afford to.miss that. chelsea, city can try to win.

it's the mid table clubs like.everton who can try and compete but look what happened to Watford.managers for.reaching the final....

To be honest, lallana pees over all their midfielders.

If he was in the Everton team he’d be their best player.

I said it and Lallana proved it.. had a superb game leading the young charges.

Wouldnt mind Lallana having a coaching role, technically he is superb.
