News about the Gers?

Seems Grezda has gone, back to Osijek on a permanent deal, which would be good news. I wouldn't expect many to come in.

I thought Ross McCrorie did quite well in midfield (but we've got a lot of midfielders). He's still only 21.

McCrorie did quite well in midfield in games where we needed a purely destructive player. Which domestically isn't very often.

In games where we had all the ball and teams were sitting off of us his lack of creativity meant he was an empty jersey in midfield.

I think longer term he can crack it as a CB. But right now he is fifth in line for a first team slot in the centre of defence.

as we have a tendency to do, we built the lad up probably beyond his ability.

Not sure where he is going to end up now.

Would be happy with McCrorie as a squad player. Take him over Polster, we’ve no many hg players. And build Patterson up.

Fb is only place we don’t have good cover, with both fbs key to how we play

Here, I've got McCrorie as my club captain in football manager He's not first, second, or even third pick in any position, but a useful utility man to have on the bench. Unfortunately I think that's the direction his career is going in the real world too, for the reasons mentioned previously.

I'm dubious about Robbie being the long-term replacement for McGregor given the teams he's been on loan at.

Oh aye, and I'd say we're desperate for proper RB as neither Polster nor Flanagan are good enough cover for Tavernier.

McGregor himself wasn't on loan to star studded teams in his early 20s
