Would be an absolutely pointless signing. Not a position we need and he is also pretty average.

I was also impressed with Phillips last night. We were linked with him a fair bit under poch. He's certainly an upgrade on Dier. Looked like a proper DM. Don't know why we haven't got a DM lined up. It's been so obvious we need one since September.

Yeah... Dier looks finished, I know he's had health issues but just doesn't look anywhere near being in the kind of shape to be playing in the Prem... scary how off the pace he looks

That is some shout.

I've seen little of him but he's a terrier, neat and tidy on the ball and sets a good tempo.

Probably available for less than 30m as well.

Didn't Sandy hate N'Jie from day 1 because he had stupid hair? Imagine what he'd make of Kalvin Phillips

Off the pace is bang on! He's either lunging in to challenges too late or chasing after players he'll never catch.

I was prepared to give him a chance but he's lost it. We need more energetic mobile midfielders and when they have these attributes then they need not be muscle bound hulks like Dier.

If id criticise Poch's era for anything then it is that a number of our players have bulked up too much and lost pace/energy/agility as a result.

And the daft thing is, players who actually DO need to bulk up - like Lamela, Foyth, Walker-Peters - haven't. Frustrating.

Not sure he's Bulked up mate... That would be Traore @ Wolves...... Dier just looks fat & outta shape to me
