Picking a team of the decade has been a big filler for the radio and rags in a dull winter shut down period.
For me a better question is - ON THIS SEASONS FORM (assume they are all currently injury free) what would be the best starting eleven you could come up with from the pool of players who have ever played up in Scotland (and of course might still be here).
For me there are a few stick-ons but still plenty of blanks to fill in. For arguments sake lets go 4-4-2 where 'wingers' can be considered midfield players;
GK- Schmeichel?
RB-
CB- VVD
CB-
LB- Andy Robertson
MID-
MID- John McGinn
MID- James Maddison
MID-
FOR- Alfie
FOR- Moussa
I would have said on quality Stevo Davo maybe would have been in there but even though he is playing well he had dropped out the picture down south so it would be hard to pick him ahead of guys playing regularly in the EPL.
And in his pomp someone like Wanyama would maybe have looked to get in there but hes a bit of a haddie these days.
Ryan Fraser on last seasons form would have had him in but he has toiled this season as Bournemouth have in general.
Best 11 currently playing....

Scott Brown over McGinn. McGinn knows it too, it’s why he never came
