The lad's an incredible talent. If we go up, he'll be a major reason why.
And if we go up, looks like we'll have plenty company wanting to sign
him in addition to us.

I actually don’t think he’s played that well lately.

Agree... but over the course of the season so far, he's been stand out

Saddest part is we arent at all likely to keep him, regardless of promotion!
Market in general for young english defenders with bags of potential is skyrocketting!
This will be his first and least season with us - i expect him to go for £25m+ (something we won't / can't pay)

Pray that I'm wrong...

"O-dog" Spanish? What are you like?

Careful you'll be calling him (h)O(t) - dog next.

( but suspect Jonty won't!)

i believe the only chance we have of keeping him is to get promoted.

I think he's been one of our better players recently whether or not his standard has dropped.

Great acquisition and one, if we get promoted, that we should fight to secure on a permanent.

This is what I was worried about when we played Arsenal off the park for at least half a game - so many of our players impressed and have put themselves in the "shop window" right at the start of the transfer window.

We'll be lucky to get through this window with our best players still in the squad.

If we don't get promoted, no way in hell is he staying with us. And even if we do get promoted, it'll be hard to land him. Not impossible though. He's Prem level already. And he'll be playing at the highest level for many years after this season.
