One of the most influential drummers of all time and a true musical pioneer.
He was one of the main reasons I got into playing music back when I was a teenager, as I’m sure he was for countless others.
Neil Peart RIP

Oh dear...just seen this....I part heard someone the other day saying Lee & Lifeson might do something on their own...just thought Peart had decided to stop playing
Listen to Rush a lot in the car on spotify…
It was on Planet Rock last year that Peart was unwell & wouldn't be doing anymore work on the skins..

Got into Rush in the 80s when Permanent Waves came out..and Spirit of radio was in the charts... And I had the track "The trees" on some compilation album
I was chatting to a bloke on holiday in cape Verde.. about 10 years ago... he was a mental rush fan even looked like geddy Lee
Love the track working man - brilliant... Probably in my top five ever songs

I got into them in the early 80's, a mate made me listen to Hemispheres, Farewell to Kings & Moving Pictures
Got thoroughly hooked (when not listening to Zappa)

Struggling to see how Working Man doesn't even make a Rush top ten...I'd have it top three
