I honestly can’t believe how little a deal is being made of this.
176 innocent civilians have lost their lives over a botched missile strike and all I hear the world leaders saying is what a terrible accident it was.
If the Iranian military are capable of accidentally murdering their own citizens, then how can we trust them with nuclear weapons?
This was an act of war for me and they should pay for it...
How can you accidentally shoot down a plane

Why does no one mention Russian rebels accidentally shooting down an airliner over Ukraine? Killing 298 innocents. Majority all Dutch.

I remember this being mentioned extensively for months on all major news sites and networks....

I meant in this thread when bringing up examples

Lol Arab if you have time read this thread where I was being called an America hater and Iranian apologist
I am not an American apologist at all but holding them responsible for this is mental
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In a way they are responsible. Would any of this happened if they hadn’t killed that general? No.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Someone kills one of your family member, you come out guns blazing and accidentally shoot the wrong person in anger. Who is responsible for killing the innocent person? You and only you. America are arseholes, but are not responsible for this mess.

Irrespective of what happened to this plane, America, the hate-fueled imperialistic war machine are still the biggest threat to global peace. Domestically they have an unfathomable crime problem, poverty, drug problem, race issues, economic and health insurance issues and are neighbours with the beheading capital of the world (why Mexico gets a free pass from western public and media for the record murders of innocent people i'll never know) but here we have Trump meddling in Jeruselam and Iran and causing instability to not only those regions but his own country. Clearly, we know where his interests lie. If you're a Sun/Daily mail reader (or just generally thick) please don't bother responding

A situation that would never have happened if someone didn’t kill the member of your family, ergo they are the catalyst.

Indeed. At Nuremberg, a war of aggression was determined to be the “supreme international crime” that “contains within it the accumulated evil of the whole” - meaning, ‘everything that follows’.
The murder of the Iranian general clearly had the likely consequences of escalations tensions, putting Iran on high alert and potentially precipitating further atrocities. Shock of horror, that’s exactly was has happened; the accumulated evil of the whole.

Just shows the contempt that leadership brings and the greed for money and financial resources which means that human life has little meaning. Dispensable.

Actually on the ‘threat to peace’ part he’s correct. Not only do repeated surveys across the world conclude the same, the US - with the UK as it’s junior partner - has constantly overthrown other countries governments, supported human rights abusers, carried out invasions and attacker other countries directly or by proxy in pursuit of its geostrategic foreign policy interests.
It is were “them” - somebody else - rather than “us”, we’d gladly recognise it.
