In our next 6 games we have Wolves at home twice, Burnley at home and City, Liverpool and Chelsea all away.
Hoping to prevent a meltdown on here if results are less than ideal so had a look at our historical record in those 3 away fixtures (League and cups) to see what should be expected.
SAF had a win rate of 35.8% at Stamford Bridge
Post-SAF we have a win rate of 20% there. Ole is the only manager in this period to have won at Chelsea.
SAF had a win rate of 47.8% at City.
Post-SAF we have a win rate of 42.9% there with LvG, Ole and Jose all recording wins.
SAF had a win rate of 35.5% at Liverpool.
Post-SAF we have a win rate of 28.6% there with LvG being the only manager to win there.
In addition we haven't beaten Wolves since SAF and they appear to be Utd's and Ole's current bogey team.
On the plus side Burnley have only beaten us once since we won our first European cup in 1968.

Anyone else think VaR has ruined penalties ?
I just always feel if a team misses the referee will always pull it back for encroachment.

Not for me. The rules are clear. Don't encroach. You cant get away with these things now but they've always been part of the law.

Not for me. The rules are clear. Don't encroach. You cant get away with these things now but they've always been part of the law.

It depends on who is encroaching.
Players of the defending team always tend to encroach first and therefore advantage applies.

I think what he means is that with the players you have he expects those results but with Solskjaer as manager he predicts the other results. Back me up here Robb.

I presented what I thought were fair targets and predicted what I thought we would get. I don’t think I was being unfair at all.
But Red Russian fancied having a pop as he’s always so usually reserved. I don’t mind as I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.

If the attacking team are doing the encroaching then it helps the attacker as if he misses they can tap it in so the referee (if he worries about encroachment) should call it back
I personally wouldn’t call it back at all unless it’s massively obvious though myself
