Connor Gallagher

With him set to join Swansea on loan can anybody tell me the thinking in cutting short a loan spell where he seems to be doing very well to move him to another side mid season?

Not going to pretend iv watched him this season but for those who have, do we see him making an impact with us? Could he compete for a place next season?

The decision to leave Charlton was a mutual agreement between him and Chelsea.

At Swansea now got the opportunity to fight for promotion and play with familiar faces under a manager that coached him at youth level.

Charlton are on a horrible run of form... 1 league win in 15.

Gallagher is probably thinking the exposure that he'd get from a team battling promotion will give him a fighters chance of being in Chelsea first-team reckoning next season as well.

Some may call that selfish for him to ditch Charlton in tough times but he has to think about his own career path.
Football is a short-life span, when presented with such opportunities got to take the gamble sometimes (move to Swansea is a calculated risk)
