Too long to read the whole thread but as a Liverpool fan I am happy to say kante is better. But fabinho is top bracket too and don't think there is that much in it. Would I swap them? Maybe. Would I pay for the privilege? No.

They don't even play the same role really.

Right now, of course Fabinho is better than Kante. Fabinho has been our best midfielder and we're 14 points clear.

Its not an absurd statement anyway.

I think overall Kante is more versatile which is a huge plus to him.

Hes not more versatile becaude he can play less positions.

Kante is absolute class though.

As mentioned above, I dont necessarily believe versatile is the right word, kante just has more skills and attributes.
He can also play anywhere across the midfield and doesn't have to have a set position. Hes often running down the wings and into channels for us, pressing on the edge of oppos box, or retrieving the ball deep in our own half too.

Fabinho on paper can play more set positions though but stays fairly rigidly to those positions.

Either way, positions or not, kante has more to his game which is what klopptimus is trying to say i believe
