Fingerprints of Daniel Levy

Levy is building an empire to last the ages and I for one am absolutely loving it. Just like the ancient Egyptians he has a vision for the future and it will make an imprint in history that will never be forgotten.

Experts still argue about the construction of the ancient pyramids. 200 tonne blocks raised hundreds of feet above the Giza plateau that even with today's technology would be next to impossible. With build estimates ranging from 30 – 200 years the similarities to What Hart Lane are understandable, but Levy has stepped up to the plate to show the world that Spurs are at the forefront of a revolution.

While ancient civilisations had science, mathematics and astronomy to build their empires, Spurs have Harry Kane armed with relentless dedication and BTec maths to take on the football world. The famous Rosetta stone was used to translate hieroglyphics to Greek, I hear some argue Harry needs a similar translator tool, but I’m confident we'll understand him one day.

We weren't heading for a relegation scrapwe'd be not far off where we are now ffs. Crazy how you can defend him so much to now. Poch was the greatest manager weve seen even before Levy at spurs. I have admitted and acknowledged levy's good work off the field for the club however be has been rubbish for the last few years now.

Players got poch sacked and poch knew exactly what we needed to be done to the squad and it was never addressed. Poch came out saying he doesnt have final say on transfers, and that has become quite evident. You know full well what I'm on about, just stop thinking from a business perspective because we watch what goes on on the pitch and the game is so money driven now, where spurs are apparently the richest club in london yet wont dive into the market adequately.

Hopefully you can be saying I told you so in a couple of years or less but almost 30 years now since an fa cup win with only 2 league cups in between is simply not good enough and theres been a common denominator over the year...

Are you for real saying Poch was the greatest manager we have seen.

levy needs to fack right off, no defending him now, he was just about hanging on then he sacked poch and still refuses to act like the big club we apparently are. disgrace.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Honestly when I read nonsense like that I really do despair of our fanbase. Stop behaving like a spoilt child that wants everything at the drop of a hat.

Daniel Levy is not perfect, but he has been a fantastic chairman. He has given us this fantastic stadium that is the envy of the world, and you want him gone.

I really do give up. Fortunately most of the supporters I meet at WHL are fully behind Spurs, the manager and the Chairman.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why haven't we won more with him at the helm in these 20 years? You can't give him credit for building us into this top 4 club but then no blame for lack of trophies.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Surely a club that can achieve top 4, by its very definition, has quality. Any team that can do that has the quality to win a domestic cup. The blame for not doing so cannot solely be placed at Levys feet, unless you want to blame him for appointing managers incapable of winning stuff like Poch.

so many on here smack of moany modern armchair fans. Pathetic. Suggest you go watch your local non league team and re engage with why you love football

Er no. Read it properly. Greatest manager even before levy. So greatest since levy has been chairman and even years before that.

also doesnt back managers like poch to then go on and win stuff. Maybe it should be about who he appoints manager. Hes just hired Jose a big risk that if he doesnt win the long awaited silverware will be an ultimate fack up. Top 4 is gone this season and will be a struggle next season. You're blaming the manager for having players good enough to get us top 4 but not winning them a trophy? That is the players fault, weak as p1ssss and cants. Also what manager was the one who has got us 4 top 4 finishes in a row again? Backed levy all through the poch era, because of how good that appointment of manager turned out to be, until the summer we didnt sign anyone and refresh the squad(utterly unacceptable in modern football) also coincided with the stadium delays and lack of communication to us fans - then showed completely lack of loyalty and trust in the best manager since hes been chairman.

The blame isn't just on Levy but when we knew that the squad needed extra strengthening at a time when we were close to the big trophies, and then do things like not sign anybody for over a year and even weaken ourselves by selling Dembele and not replacing, then you know where to mainly look.

I am someone who has been complaining about Levy's approach since before the last 10 years and even the summer we did nothing wasn't that much of a surprise to me. I mean if there was going to be any club to break the record for signing absolutely nobody I would have handpicked Levy and Spurs out of every club. He is such a notorious tight arsse when it comes to showing ambition in the market considering the stature of the club.

The real pro-Mourinho Spurs fans can surely look nowhere else for failure if even with Mourinho we don't win any trophies. It will be no clearer that Levy is the man responsible for holding us back from silverware all these years.

But top four was always prioritised over a domestic cup... Levy would clearly prefer CL entrance over a league cup. The only time Pochettino got sacked was when CL looked difficult. Not because of lack of silverware. But where Levy gets blame is if we have invested proper and not stagnated then maybe we could have got top four and a domestic trophy. Or even the Premier League ala Liverpool.

Anyway, the reason guys like Sandy are oblivious is because they have no long term thinking or consider consequences.

It's all about the now. If Mourinho fails and gets sacked Sandy will forget about what he has previously written. Contradict those very comments and have a new position to back without thinking.

Anyone who sees Pochettino as a failure because he never won Spurs a trophy isnt worth talking to. Just stupidity at its finest.

Mate if you think spurs weren’t heading into a relegation scrap if they didn’t change manager then you are utterly deluded. He had lost the dressing room (for one reason or another ) and we could barely win a game. Our form was awful for a year and the players had packed it in. It’s a real shame but that was the reality. He had plenty of time to sort out domestic form ( almost a year) and it was getting worse not better !

He couldn't work magic with his set of pants puuuussy players. Jose had a few games of the new managers bounce and now we are seeing the same old we saw under poch.
