Underwhelmed

have to say that im somewhat underwhelmed by our transfer window so far, signings made so far may well be Ok in the future but are either at a level to really make a difference right now?I mean both are only 21 ie "projects " again!!
I really hoped that the club would step up and make a statement with their signings ie sign a couple of £10M players (or even one)but as i say so far underwhelmed

I think we will get the job done, I don’t think there is much difference in quality but we are a hungrier side
----------------------------------------------------------------------
hungrier side?maybe?maybe not?still to prove that you can get over the finish line in ANY competition though
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Another cliched pile of Tam Kite.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
cant argue with facts mate???This current Rangers side have still to prove that they can win a trophy. They failed miserably at Hampden recently against a struggling Celtic side with injury problems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think I will leave you to your wee bubble where everything Celticy is fine and dandy, and, where you believe you will be signing 2 x £10m players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok thanks
There is no financial reason why Celtic couldn't sign a couple of £10M players if the right players came along. There is money in the bank and there are also players at the club already where huge money could and probably will be made by selling on ie Eddy,Ajer CalMac etc.and of course the potential CL windfall .

Just saw the footage of the Pope conducting the Union Bears singing the 'Billy Boys' last night.

Stay calm DC. The EPL is way over rated and prices are nuts. Fleck, McBurnie, Fraser etc. all doing well in EPL - would you want any of them at Rangers?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fleck with his 5th of the season to equalise away to Arsenal.

Over rated

As soon as you start buying players for the short-term the game is up. However, for Celtic (or Rangers), it is no bigger risk buying now to potentially get into the CL qualifiers as it is buying in August in the middle of those biggest ties of the season that decide that achievement?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We DO buy players (projects ) for the short term though ALL of our squad is for sale at the right price.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eh?

Surely 'projects' are, by definition for the long-term?

To be open, the last 3 you could maybe argue were
Izzy (known quantity and cover for KT only) or
Comperr (goodness knows what that was about?)
Kolo (again cover, coaching, managers placeman?)

Small money or freebie. Definitely not a trend.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
depends what you call long term i suppose i mean the likes of Dembele ,Wanyama and Virgil were only hear for a few seasons and Eddy will be the same
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not having that. They were all young men signed for small money. Projects. Just they turned out better than probably most expected and all parties realised the value. These were not short-term signings.
