Neil Lennon has named his first team for 2020 as the Scottish Cup holders kick off their defence with a short trip to face Partick Thistle.
Fraser Forster starts in goals in Maryhill against Ian McCall’s team.
In front of the Englishman, he has Frimpong, Bitton, Jullien and Taylor – the latter will be keen to impress.
Captain Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, Olivier Ntcham and Tom Rogic make up the midfield as Neil Lennon looks to have rectified the tactical oversights that saw Celtic slump to a home defeat at the end of last year.
Celtic’s talisman Odsonne Edouard, who scored a brace in the Final versus Hearts last May, leads the line along with Leigh Griffiths.
On the bench for the Champions, Gordon, Simunovic, Bauer, Hayes, Bolingoli, Arzani and new Bhoy Paddy Klimala.
The last time Celtic faced Thistle in the Scottish Cup, a hat-trick from James Forrest won the day; however, today Celtic have no wingers as the manager attempts to play using a different system.

Seems a really good fee for him IMHO?thats more than 3 times what you paid for him only 18 months ago!!!

He's also been far beyond decent this season.

Nowhere near his value.
First choice LB for a strong Croatia team going to euro 2020 and were world Cup finalists. in great form both attacking and defending.
Better than the other targets they have mentioned as alternatives to him.
Scottish teams should be demanding fair compensation for losing our players. Been far too long

I don’t see many coming in but a mental offer aside(and that’s not) I don’t see us selling anyone significant to our team before summer

Friday showed a distinct lack of squad depth
I think both Rangers and Celtic suffer from this
They though can spend a few million to try and sort that
We just need to go with what we have
As the 2 recent Glasgow derby games indicated our first 11 is a good bit superior to theirs but a few injuries or suspension could be massive for us
